Julie and David Brown
Marseille, France
Description of ministry: David and Julie are in France at the invitation of the Evangelical Reformed Church of France. With years of experience in sub-Saharan and North Africa, the Browns are well placed to minister in Marseille, a city of one million people, with a third or more being immigrants.
Their work is focused on 4 primary areas:
- work with and through the local French church,
- work with the national convention of churches, helping them to be open to immigrants in their churches and outreach in their communities,
- outreach to Muslim immigrants - specific ministries encouraging joint activities, communication, and understanding, and
- humanitarian response to the situation of refugees and immigrants.
