Many of the neighborhoods across Ontario and Quebec are made up of those who have recently immigrated to Canada as refugees, immigrants, or students. This project assists local churches and community organizations in providing basic needs and newcomer assistance in the form of food banks, child care, English/French classes, seminars, wellness courses, Bible study groups, prayer groups, distribution of scripture: Bibles, DVD's, etc. The neighborhoods are quite diverse with anywhere from 20 - 120 different people groups represented in one neighborhood. This project provides the opportunity to transform communities as individuals and families experience the love and acceptance of Christ in both practical, emotional, and spiritual ways.
